Open House Tools

Run the open house. Keep the leads.

You greet everyone who walks in, answer the same questions all afternoon, and then the event ends — the names are in one place or another and the week takes over. The follow-up that turns a visitor into a client is the part that slips.

These tools handle the open house as the workflow it is: set up the property, collect visitor info without a paper sheet, and know who to follow up with once everyone’s gone home.

Who this is for

  • Agents who want a cleaner open house setup than a clipboard and a stack of flyers
  • Agents who want contactless sign-in and feedback without building the forms themselves
  • Agents comfortable editing in Canva and working with a Google Form — no design or tech background needed

Not ideal for:

  • Agents who only want a single printable paper sign-in sheet
  • Agents looking for a full CRM — this organizes open house follow-up, it doesn’t replace your database

Before, during, and after the open house

Before — set up the property.

Directional signs, parking, house rules, and a welcome setup so the home reads as run by someone who’s done this before. Print what you need, edit a few lines in Canva, reuse it for the next listing.

During — capture visitors as they arrive.

Two ways to do it: a QR sign-in visitors scan from their phone (a Canva sign plus a ready-to-connect Google Form), or a printed sign-in sheet as part of the full open house kit. Either way, you leave with contact details you can follow up on — not a blur of names you’re trying to remember Monday.

After — follow up before the window closes.

A feedback QR to capture what visitors thought while the home’s still fresh, and a tracker that sorts visitors into follow-up categories with ready-to-send messages — so the week after the open house doesn’t bury the leads you just collected.

Common questions

Do I need Canva Pro?

No. The Canva pieces work on Canva’s free plan. If you already have Pro you can use it, but it isn’t required.

How does the QR sign-in work?

You edit the Canva sign, connect it to the included Google Form, and display the QR at the door. Visitors scan it and sign in from their phone — no app, no paper sheet. Their info collects in the form for you to review.

Do I need to be good with tech?

No. If you can edit text in Canva and copy a Google Form or Sheet, you can set these up. Each product includes setup steps.

What do I actually get after I buy?

An instant download through Etsy — a PDF with links to the editable Canva templates and any included Google Form or Sheet. You make your own copies and reuse them for every open house.
